What work we will undertake for you?
We can undertake work in relation to the following for you.
Advise you in relation to your rights in relation to the separation
Negotiate with the other party to reach an agreement on separation.
Represent you at Court, if necessary
Draft and complete, or advise on, a completing the Separation Agreement.
Work expected to be carried out in this transaction but not included.

Time frame
This can vary from case to case and depends on how easily an agreement can be reached. We will advise you in relation to this at the initial meeting and subsequently throughout the matter.
Fees
The Solicitor representing you may agree a fixed fee with you in relation to a simple Settlement Agreement (no negotiations). The fixed fee agreed will be exclusive of VAT. Any Negotiations for Financial Settlements shall fall outside any fixed fee.

Settlement Agreement - Respondent - Non-contested - £500.00 +VAT (£600.00 inc VAT)

A charge for all work undertaken in relation to this matter will be carried out at our standard rates.
Matter Specific Disbursements
Barristers fee – dependant on the barristers level of experience. All fees will attract VAT – this will be discussed with you if the need for a barrister arises.
Court fee – to be discussed if necessary– (no VAT) Any other disbursements will be discussed with the client prior to being incurred
