Part-time Receptionist/Secretary

Location: Llanidloes

Hours: 2 Days a Week 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch break) 

Salary: Salary dependent on experience.

About Us: We are a well-established local solicitors' office, providing a wide range of legal services to our community. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality legal support with a personal touch. We are currently looking for a reliable and friendly Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

​

Role Overview: As our Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth running of our office. In addition to typical receptionist duties, you will assist our solicitors with various administrative tasks.

​

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Answering and directing phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Greeting clients and visitors, making them feel welcome and comfortable.

  • Managing appointments, including booking and confirming client meetings.

  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Assisting solicitors with administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, and data entry.

  • Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area.

  • Managing office supplies and ensuring the reception area is well-stocked.

  • Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks as required.​

Requirements:

​

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

  • A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour.

  • A commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
